WOTCLEF – UNODC Vienna
On the 14th September 2016, WOTCLEF signed a Grant Agreement with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Vienna to implement a two year project on Rehabilitation and Assistance to Victims trafficked into Domestic Servitude and Sexual Exploitation. Specific objective of this project is to meet the psychosocial and educational needs of 10 children trafficked into domestic servitude.

Inline with the Vision of its founder for a more caring and safe society in Nigeria and in Africa, WOTCLEF’s Focus areas of concern are: Trafficking in Persons (TIP) also reffered to as Human Trafficking, Child Labour and Abuse, Protection of the right of women, children and youth, Reproductive Health/HIV/AIDS

WOTCLEF & UNITED NATIONS:
In July 2003, the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) granted WOTCLEF a special Consultative Status. This distinguished status gives WOTCLEF the rare opportunity to maintain regular presence at UN Meetings and conferences that are relevants to WOTCLEF’s programmes and activities as well as to implement effectively and fruitfully the provisions of the consultative relationship.
WOTCLEF collaborates with a number of government misitries, agencies and development partners such as: NAPTIP, Nigeria Immigration, Nigeria Police, NYSC, UNICEF, UNODC, Ministry of Labour & Productivity, IOM, ILO, PACT Nigeria, WINROCK International e.t.c
How WOTCLEF Works
Since its inception, the foundation has effectively been at the forefront of efforts to combat human trafficking and Child labour in Nigeria. It has developed and applied a range of approaches to address these Scourges.
WOTCLEF knows that the best way to curb incidences of human trafficking and child labour is to appeal to the conscience of the peopleand raise their consciouseness to the evils inherent in the scourges. Because WOTCLEF beleives in the adage that says “Prevention is better than cure”. It carries out public enlightment and sensitization campaign against trafficking in persons, child labour/abuse and the spread of HIV/AIDS.Read More

WOTCLEF and other Stakeholders partnered with AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF Nigeria) on a silent protest to STOP THE WAR ON WOMEN'S AND CHILDREN'S BODIES on 28th November 2016.
WOTCLEF sensitized the public on the ills of TIP at Wazobia FM 99.5 Abuja as the Christmas/End of the year activities mount up on 8th December 2016.
WOTCLEF Commissioned its upgraded Counseling Room now renamed COMFORT ROOMWOTCLEF Commissioned its upgraded Counseling Room now renamed COMFORT ROOM to continue to give support and assistance to Victims of Human Trafficking on 9th December, 2016. The room was upgraded by one of WOTCLEF's partners. The HRM Consultants International. Present at the commissioning were representatives of the UNODC, UNICEF, NAPTIP, the Nigeria Police Force, WOTCLEF BOT Members, Principals of J.S.S gwarinpa estate.

Captain Bert Kiburg of the Embassy of Netherlands Visits WOTCLEF Head Office in AbujaCaptain Bert Kiburg of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and members of his family-Lisette, Jasper and Yosien are now friends with WOTCLEF. They visited WOTCLEF shelter and donated recreational items - football, basket ball, table tenis net, bats and eggs, toys and decoration accessories. In addition, they are embarking on a private project to empower persons in WOTCLEF shelter with various skills.
