WOTCLEF at Women Community in Africa (WCA)

Today, the Women Community in Africa (WCA) where WOTCLEF was represented by her Head Admin,Dr Precious Williams, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, former President of Nigeria.

Our conversation focused on the need to amplify women’s voices in politics, strengthen grassroots representation, and promote mentorship in governance and leadership. We also highlighted the journey of WCA since 2018, building movements that address social and family challenges while pushing for inclusivity in decision-making.

His Excellency applauded Rwanda’s model of women’s leadership and emphasised the importance of creating more opportunities for women in politics across Nigeria and Africa. He graciously accepted to join us at the WCA Summit 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda, as Special Guest of Honour, where he will deliver a Keynote Address on the Summit theme: “From Presentation to Protection: Impact of Women’s Leadership on Shaping Good Governance and Ending Gender-Based Violence (Case Study of Rwanda).”
